Picture
Tanya Belvin is  a retired middle school teacher with thirty-two years experience.  Her passion is reading, writing, and entertaining her seven grandchildren. Tanya lives with her husband, Ron, and her mother, Tommie Moton, enjoying  lakeside living in Denver, North Carolina. Tanya and Ron have three adult children.

“When I retired in 2016, I immediately began writing my novel, The Resurrection Project. It is Christian Science Fiction, and believe it or not, as early as my first draft, I predicted a pandemic in 2020 that would change our healthcare system. I'm not saying everything I have written will come true in the near future- but it may, for better or worse.  May God use us to make this world a better place by becoming catalysts for change whenever possible.

Proverbs 20: 11- 12 says, "Even children show what they are by what they do; you can tell if they are honest and good. The Lord has given us eyes to see with and ears to listen with.”

EXCITING NEWS!!

Picture

Hello, Everyone! I'm thrilled to say that my second novel, Rescuing the Remnant, is now for sale on Amazon. It can be purchased in ebook or paperback format. This sequel to The Resurrection Project continues the story of medical student Ellen McCarthy, who uncovers a sinister truth when she takes an internship at the Grindland Institute in Chapel Hill, NC. Ellen and her coworkers, having rescued a little girl from Grindland's mysterious Resurrection Project, pray for a plan to rescue the remaining children from this medical experimentation lab. Their success is a matter of life and death, and God is guiding them every step of the way. Set in 2034, this Christian futuristic novel offers a thought-provoking exploration on ethics and the sanctity of life.

The Resurrection Project has a five-star rating on Amazon, and I hope readers will enjoy this sequel. If you like what you read, please add your comments and rating to Amazon and Goodreads. All proceeds from both books go to the Tim Tebow foundation, UnKnown, working to identify and rescue missing and exploited children.

THE PLOT

In 2034, The Resurrection Project, housed at Grindland Institute in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, is a top-secret medical experiment with a controversial focus on the restoration of life. Six children, currently participating in this program, are housed in Ward C. They are given a letter with a number as their moniker, and they follow a rigidly controlled lifestyle with primary focus on maintaining optimum physical health. Ironically, however, any form of emotional connection to the “subjects” is strictly forbidden.

Twenty-four-year-old Ellen McCarthy, a second-year medical student, works as a supervisor in Ward C. When a co-worker approaches her to reveal concerns over what has happened to two missing children, Ellen begins to develop questions herself. Suddenly, the co-worker also disappears mysteriously without notice. This is the catalyst that prompts Ellen to investigate what is really going on at Grindland.

For almost seven years, 41-year- old Mamie and her husband, Brent, have been in a constant state of grief over their daughter, Lainey. In 2026, the six-year-old contracted a mysterious illness and, after a year of failing health, her passing was imminent. When the doctor pronounced Lainey’s death, her body was immediately transported to Extension Cryonics in Charlotte, North Carolina to sustain her life until a cure could be found.

Soon, Ellen and Mamie make a connection. Together, they collaborate to solve the mysteries associated with The Resurrection Project. They put their complete trust in God to provide them with His strength, His wisdom, and His protection as they move forward on a clandestine operation to help save the life of a special little girl.
